PAP & APCO dealer for Australia & Namibia
Paramotor and Paraglider
in Australia & Namibia
FlyMachine PPG is proud to be the dealer for PAP paramotors (the actual spelling is P.AP.), and APCO Aviation paragliders for Australia and Namibia. FlyMachine PPG consists of a group of paramotor and paragliding pilots who aim to equip other pilots and aspiring pilots with the absolute best quality paramotoring and paragliding equipment at an affordable price. From personal experience, we have selected one paramotor brand and one paraglider brand that we fully endorse as among the very best equipment available.
PAP Paramotors
(Powered Paragliders)
- Fly PAP, Fly the Original -
PAP (or P.AP.) paramotors are probably the most versatile and best quality paramotors on the market at a price lower than most of the other popular brands. PAP paramotors have a few unique but very important features that set them apart from other competing paramotor brands:
PAP paramotors feature, by far, the best assembly and disassembly system for the cage (hoop) of any paramotor on the market. The assembly and disassembly of the cage take no longer than 2 minutes, and therefore, PAP pilots often really do disassemble their paramotors to fit into a normal car. This means that a PAP paramotor is far more transportable than almost any other brand, without the need for a dedicated paramotor trailer. Feel free to check out this video showcasing this feature.
PAP is one of only a few paramotor brands employing low-hangpoint swing arms. The result of this is that in-flight weight-shifting is significantly better and more comfortable than with the high hang point swing arm designs found on most other paramotor brands. Weight-shifting in a PAP feels almost like weight-shifting in a free-flight paraglider.
Furthermore, PAP is one of only a few brands that use the higher 2.87 reduction ratio for the very popular Moster 185 engine. Almost all other paramotors using Moster 185 engines use the lower 2.68 reduction ratio, resulting in higher propeller speeds. The higher reduction ratio used by PAP results in a slower propeller speed and, consequently, significantly lower noise levels and better propeller efficiency. The higher reduction ratio, as used by PAP, is critical, especially when using the Moster Factory-R with a 140 cm propeller.
PAP paramotors use SUPAIR harnesses that are specially-made with some features specifically for PAP. What is unique about this harness, apart from its class-leading comfort, is that it features a self-inflating airbag underneath the seatboard. This is a great safety feature in the event of a hard landing. Additionally, there is a radio pocket in the right-hand shoulder strap and a housing for the tacho and CHT gauges in the left-hand shoulder strap.
When buying a PAP paramotor, one can choose from a wide range of engines from Vittorazi and Polini. With the smallest engine, the Vittorazi Atom 80 with only 18 hp, and the largest, the Polini Thor 303 with 38 hp, there is a PAP frame and engine combination to suit every pilot.
Not only do we provide pilots with new PAP paramotors, but we also provide after-sales service by providing spares, even legacy components, and accessories directly from the PAP factory. Check out these items on the PAP Spares & Accessories page, where you will find engine spares, propellers, life jackets, clothing, and other merchandise.
Feel free to check out some of the technical highlights of PAP paramotors on the New PAP Paramotor page. In short, our mission is to equip fellow paramotor pilots with the best quality equipment and spares at the lowest possible prices.

APCO Paragliders
Together with our PAP paramotors, FlyMachine PPG is also excited to offer APCO paramotor wings and powered paragliders, rescue systems, PPG and PG helmets, harnesses, bags, windsocks, and all other accessories required for paragliding directly from the APCO Aviation shop for our clients in Australia and Namibia.
APCO Aviation paragliders are internationally recognised for their rock-solid stability and safety characteristics while being technically very advanced and efficient. More training schools use APCO’s training paragliders for PPG (such as the amazing Lift 2EZ and now the new generation F5) than any other brand due to their reliability and stability, allowing student pilots to progress faster and safer with more confidence. Yet, APCO Aviation also produces the fastest cross-country wing on the market, the brilliant APCO F1. Even tandem pilots will be excited to know that the APCO F3Bi, a new generation dedicated tandem wing, is the most technically advanced and easy-to-fly tandem wing on the market.
APCO Aviation was one of the first companies to start producing paragliders, dating all the way back to 1986. Today, APCO Aviation still produces some of the very best paragliders in the world. In terms of innovation, APCO Aviation has developed many innovative technologies (check out the self-cleaning feature that removes debris from inside the wing during flight) and probably holds more patents than any other competing manufacturer.
Check out the standout technical advances of APCO wings and paragliders on the APCO page. Once again, our aim is to offer APCO Aviation products at the lowest possible prices to the paramotor and paraglider communities.
Testimonials
“I’m very impressed with the PAP so far. I’ve had several paramotors, and this one definitely suits me best. It’s comfortable on the ground as well as in the air, and the ease of packing down is fantastic. Ordering through FlyMachine PPG was simple and streamlined. Would highly recommend.“ Gavan, Victoria.
When I decided to get into paramotoring, I did a Google search for paramotor suppliers in Australia and found FlyMachine PPG. I contacted them from the web page, and they promptly responded. Not only did they answer all my questions, but they actively guided me through the entire journey of training and selecting equipment. Hannes even provided me with free accommodation for a few days when I came to Melbourne to collect my new PAP paramotor and APCO F5 wing! Hannes and Dale even spent an afternoon with me doing some kiting with my new APCO F5 in a nearby park. I am still in regular contact with them and can highly recommend FlyMachine PPG.
